“It has come to my attention that one of our volunteers here in Michigan has affiliations with a racist and hateful organization. He was appointed to the volunteer position of county organizer for one of Michigan’s 83 counties. He was not forthcoming about his background and he was in clear violation of the campaign’s code of conduct for volunteers. No one affiliated with racist organizations would ever knowingly be allowed to have any role with the campaign. Dr. Paul’s philosophy of freedom and individual liberty is the antithesis of racism.”

Last night’s snowstorm may mean you might have some difficulty reaching the polls.  If you are at all hindered by the weather from going out to vote, please call the state headquarters at 313.538.7000 and we will help you find a volunteer near you who might be able to assist you.  Likewise, if you are able to help other supporters to the polls, please inform your county coordinator (information available here) and help as many Ron Paul supporters as you know to the polls!

We need to maximize our turnout today to WIN, so please do what you can to help each and every Ron Paul supporter to the polls to vote today!

Tuesday is the day we’ve been waiting for–and to be victorious, we need to be making our last-minute push to GET OUT THE VOTE! More than ever before, we need your help on Election Day to get every possible vote for Ron Paul.

There are multiple ways you can help.

First, you can make sure that you and every Ron Paul supporter you know has a yard sign placed proudly in front of your home. If you don’t already have one, please call the state headquarters at 313.538.7000 and we’ll help you locate your local coordinator to obtain a sign.

Second, if you have not yet done so, please sign up to be your precinct captain at voters.ronpaul2008.com. There, you will find addresses and contact info of all the registered voters in your precinct, and you can work even at this late hour to convince undecided voters to vote tomorrow for Ron Paul.

Third, we need well-mannered, enthusiastic volunteers at the polls tomorrow, holding a Ron Paul sign and handing lit out to voters who are still trying to make up their minds. This is not a rally or a protest or a sign-waving event– this is the last image of Ron Paul supporters these voters will have as they go to the polls, so we want smiling, happy, helpful supporters welcoming them at the polls and encouraging them to vote for Ron Paul, on the Republican ballot. Polls are open for 13 long hours, so you can coordinate amongst yourselves who will be at the polls and when. We have one shot at this, and we need to distribute ourselves such that every polling place is covered. Even if you can’t be there for the entire election, and even if you can only volunteer for an hour or so, every little bit helps.

We’re less than a day away from the primary, and you, like all of us on the campaign, must be feeling extreme nervousness and anxiety–but let’s turn that anxiety into action and work for VICTORY tomorrow!

The family event will take place between 5-7pm at the Ford Senior Center in Taylor.

Please come on out and show your support–all the other campaigns will be there!

The Shift Change is at 3:00, so we will meet at 1:30.
Employees will come and go between 2:00-3:30. We will be done by 3:30.
