“Over the next year or so, many different people are going to tell you which presidential candidate to vote for. I’m not qualified to do that (and, in reality, neither is anyone else), but I would like to explain why I support and am going to vote for Congressman Ron Paul.
If you’re like me, you’re tired of unnecessary and exorbitant taxes, you’re tired of the dollar constantly losing purchasing power, and you’re alarmed when politicians demand that we surrender our constitutionally protected civil liberties, especially the bedrock principles of habeas corpus and due process, in exchange for “security.”
If you aren’t concerned about any of these things, you’ll have plenty of choices for President in 2008. If, on the other hand, you would like to see the IRS eliminated and the income tax ended, a return to sound money and the end of inflation, and a President who takes his oath to defend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights seriously, then Dr. Ron Paul is your only choice.

Wow i cant believe kane is supporting Ron Paul. I wonder if any other wrestlers support Ron paul? Wrestling has a HUGE fanbase and if they heard about ron paul the message would spread even more faster than it is now.

I am registered as a Democrat, however I vote for the person that I feel will do the best job for the sake of this country. Ron Paul is that man to me and I support him 100%. I don’t care if he doesn’t get the Republican nomination, I will write him in if need be. There is something that I just don’t trust about any of the other candidates, but I believe in Mr. Paul.

This is most interesting. I read a huge story on www.wrestlingnewsdesk.com about Ric Flair’s endorsement of Mike Huckabee, and I found it all so very interesting. Glenn Jacobs (who is also featured on www.wrestlingnewsdesk.com) is a fascinating man. Plays a monster, but is a very well spoken, articulate, intelligent, educated man.

1) As a wrestling fan, you would never expect to see the man we know as ‘Kane’ wearing a t-shirt, much less a Ron Paul t-shirt! Personally, I think its pretty cool. EVERYBODY needs to talk about Dr. Paul, but with Mr. Jacobs here, his co-workers are watched by LITERALLY millions of people every week. That’s a lot of endorsement power right there!

It is great to see some of my favorite wrestlers do something out of the ordinary and show that they care about the future. Glenn (Kane) Jacobs, you get it, but how many others you work with do? I will be voting for the first time ever and I most certainly endorse Ron Paul and everything he stands for. After George Bush, I became middle of the road (independent) because for me, I need mixed views, not just one side of the spectrum, Ron Paul offers that. VIVA LA rEVOLution!

I think it is very cool that you support Ron Paul. I think the majority of the WWE fanbase would agree with lots of Dr. Paul’s positions. As the election draws near, I hope you get involved with some sort of “Smack Down The Vote” or whatever the WWE does.

I’m glad more people are starting to jump on the Ron Paul bandwagon. I wish you could wear that shirt in the ring Kane. The media just seems to be ignoring Mr. Paul, and it is really starting to tick me off. It’s to bad that the media wants to push Guiliani, Clinton and Osama down out throats, because I think if the majority of people knew about Ron Paul they would vote for him in a heartbeat(probably why the media doesn’t talk about him). Do you think Ron Paul will be invited to the SmackDown your vote 2008?

I see you’re not just a ‘pretty face’! Thank you for endorsing Dr. Paul and for confirming my long held opinions about ‘professional wrestlers’. I have always thought that for someone your size to lad on someone and NOT kill them required exceptional talent and restraint and those are not things commonly associated with the uneducated.

Ever since your great performance and victory in the WWE edition of “The Weakest Link” I knew you were a very intelligent man, so it didn’t surprise me at all to see you endorse the only candidate who speaks the truth, has common sense, protects our Constitution and genuinely wants to help the nation get back to the ideals of the founders. Praise to you Mr. Jacobs for supporting Ron Paul, America’s Last Hope. By the way, have you ever considered running for public office?
