I made my point on the blog section. Again I stand today demanding Ron Paul clean house at national, ask for our money, and TRY winning the Republican nomination at the national convention. People across America have sacrificed so much to change America. Ron Paul needs to continue the fight all the way through the convneiton to be nominated over McCain.
May 15th, 2008 at 9:49 am
Dr. Paul writes a guide-book for a new way in America, and John McCain speaks of a fantasy land. MeCain is running for President of WHICH planet?!?

I commented, too! This is a great review & the author is a lifelong Democrat! He has that same defeatist attitude as 90% of America, though. He writes a great review, then says it’s too bad he won’t be president. Why don’t people like this jump on our bandwagon and help us wake up the rest of the nation? Instead, they give aid and comfort to the lazy sheep who go right along thinking there is nothing left to do but choose the left wing or the right wing of the same bird that’s flying us into oblivion. Why not end the review by encouraging others to check out Ron Paul for themselves and get active in trying to win the GOP nomination in St. Paul?

( off the posted topic? I don’t think so)
This is a repost of previous letters.
I hope no one falls asleep.
We say we want a Revolution!!
Viva La Revolution
Vote stealing IS a federal crime.
It’s too bad the criminals won’t let the FEC do its work.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/04/03/AR2008040304314.html
It is time to start exposing the senators and congressmen that refuse to fill FEC seats.
There is NO ONE in the government that wants the FEC to do the job it’s tasked with.
The blatant dishonesty of three presidential candidates is now becoming overwhelmingly obvious.
The Media refuses to see it and report it to the people of this country.
I would implore all of us to write our Senators and congressmen and tell them to complete the seating of the Federal Election Commission.
Write them now!! Don’t wait until tomorrow. DO IT NOW!!
And while you’re writing, write letters to the editors of your newspapers.
A lot of peoples votes are being thrown away, without being counted. I don’t think they’ll like that very much.
I’m sorry to say it to the supporters of Dr Paul and to Dr Paul himself, This Revolution is going to go well past a war of words, and beliefs. When the people of this country find out just how badly they’ve been lied to by the Media, and their Government, THEY WILL REVOLT!!! Expand the Revolution!!
As I see it that is what is now needed.
Fellow Dr Paul supporters, We have gone well past one battle at a time. It’s time to look at the overall picture.
IT’S TIME FOR WAR!!!
Matt, National, Dr Paul,
Put the counter back on the front page where it belongs.
As it is right now the leadership of this campaign is hiding information from its supporters.
YOU’RE DOING THE SAME THING THE MSM IS GUILTY OF, AND YOU;RE DOING IT TO THE SUPPORT THAT HAS SENT MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, AND SPENT COUNTLESS HOURS OF THEIR TIME EDUCATING THEMSELVES, AND FELLOW CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY!!!
We need to know what sort of assets we have at our disposal. We need something to prompt future supporters into donating to Dr Paul’s presidential bid.
We also need to let the world know that Dr Paul is still in the race. Nothing says “in the race” better than a donation counter that is constantly going up with support.
I will donate up to $1000.00 of my own money to a PAC that supports Dr Paul, and can place articles in major newspapers explaining to the people of the US what is going on.
This is a call to WAR for all of us.
Write your Senators and Congressmen.
Write your local and regional newspapers.
If you can afford it, or a group can afford it, place an add in your newspapers.
Don’t make it a “vote for Dr Paul” ad.
Make it a notice that people’s votes are being thrown away without counting.
Let them know that it’s their senators and congressmen throwing them away for political favors.
Let them know that the Federal Election Commission, the group that oversees the elections in this country has been crippled.
Complacency is NOT AN OPTION.
Put the counter back!!
DD
To a Virginia Revolutionary and to all
(I don’t know if this is off topic or not)
Greetings
V R You are correct in your statement
“All these ideas for action could be very effective. however, to ensure people act, and to ensure they are used most effectively requires organization. several hundred people are not just going to jump up and force the hand of the media.”
It’s time to organize.
First off, What will get the media’s attention the fastest?
Which Media? TV, radio, print. What will have the most impact.
Secondly, What will our statement be once we have their attention?
I will try my hand at some organizing.
If anyone has some ideas please send them to me.
I will put them into groups and see which one we (that’s all of us, not just me) think will have the most impact.
I will get my son to set up a website in the next week so we have a mutual place to communicate.
Any ideas, send them here
drdave4ronpaul@earthlink.net
It’s time to open the media’s eyes.
Write your senators and congressmen “NOW” and get them to finish seating FEC commissioners.
It’s time to enforce the Election laws. I can’t say it enough.
DD
Greetings all,
I stated in my earlier note that I will help out organizing, and that I will do.
I just ask that any ideas and correspondence be sent to this email address.
drdave4ronpaul@earthlink.net
I will ask for no personal info other than what you want to offer (name, state you live in)
I will not ask, nor will I take any sort of donations monetarily, or gifted.
This is for ideas only!!
I would like to get the planning away from the prying eyes of (said with great respect) our fellow presidential candidates. In realistic speech (the status quo enemy)
I received a reply from Heather D, and she got my reply.
Let us show the politicians, and media, who “We the People of these United States” really are.
Dr Dave
PS
Write your senators and congressmen ( and congresswomen) about getting the FEC seated.
And this may be a stupid question but Why is the President being allowed to nominate people to FEC chairs?
Shouldn’t “We the People” be choosing neutral, non political, impartial people to those posts?
Should the Million plus of us stand up nominate, and present candidates for FEC positions.
Food for thought

Politico has an article out. The first few paragraphs may anger a few. But honestly I would have to agree with most of that. But that is why Paul is special. If Brownback would have stayed he would be doing well, but he offers nothing different from McCain. I think the amount of votes and support Paul has gotten is amazing because of what he believes. Anyone who votes for Paul is not your regular old citizen who just watches TV and pulls the lever for the media favorite.

“His capacity for remaining undiscouraged is extraordinary. Talk about audacious hope: Ron Paul thinks the republic is salvageable. “We have not had a foreign policy that is proper to a republic for many, many years, and it is long past time that we reestablished one,” he says. Amen, brother. ”
that says it all right there! people think the republic is not salvageable so they follow the path of least resistence and vote for the same….what a shame.

Matt:
Do you want a PEACEFUL R3volution? Then I suggest that those in charge of this home page capture the eyes, the ears, the minds, the hearts and the emotions of its readers by posting the best of the best of the YouTubes depicting the march on Washington D.C., July 12,’08, as soon as possible, and leave it here until the march is over.
BTW, how about floats and college bands in that march. Visual effects, inspiring music-let’s appeal to the whole person. Look at the hundreds of man hours spent preparing for the Rose Parade and the television time it is given. Is the Rose Parade even remotely important as the MARCH FOR FREEDOM for our country? Of course not!!! God bless. John.

This is in response to Dr. Dave’s “call to arms” as it were. Over the past few months, I have grown quite fond of all of the posters here. I have been motivated to believe that we can, indeed, make a difference for the future of this country. Each person who posts here is gifted in different areas, and moved by different things, and the differences all join together to unite a cohesive group.
It is imperative that we all ACT. In order for this revolution to be affective, we must actively demand justice, not just write about it in a blog. I would like to appeal to all of you to bring your individual strengths together and reply to Dr. Dave’s call to action. We are hoping to bring together ideas, and solutions, on how to address the many different issues we face, that have to be handled by the grassroots. The campaign is quite limited in what assistance they can offer, due to election laws. For all of us who don’t yet have a meet-up group to be active in, or even those that are involved in meet-ups, this is a great opportunity to exchange ideas, and be actively involved in righting the wrongs that we now deal with.

OT:
Tucker is on CNN..talking about the comment Bush made about appeasement to the Middle East rhetoric. Good to see ole Tucker!
McCain is such a a88, looks for the camera and leans forward to set his message against Obama for seeing a need to diplomatic talks with Iran.
McCain camp used the term tar baby, not personally but in a term as in “stick” they said.. a smear..Low blow..sick of McCain..more Bush politics..Why doesn’t he go ahead and doom everybody not like him to the gates of hell? He gives me the creeps! His head is up his own butt.
May 15th, 2008 at 1:26 pm
John,
The march on D.C. is a seperate organization from the official RP for president campaign; thus the official campaign cannot coordinate efforts with the march, due to Mccain/feingold campaign finance laws. There are lots and lots ofr grassroots organizations that i’m sure the official campaign would love to work with, but due to the aforementioned laws, it cannot happen.
although i just got an idea!!!
since there isn’t a functioning FEC (due to seating of its members by the senate), we could break those ‘laws’ without consequence. if the qourum is assembled after seating the members to discipline the RP campaign, they’d have to act upon John McCain’s withdrawl from the public matchign funds!!!!
i could be on to something….(at least it was a thought)
May 15th, 2008 at 1:48 pm
Thanks Eli: If there is an umbrella group re the July 12 march, perhaps someone will forward my ideas to same or give me its internet address. U.S. Rep. Ron Paul announced his intent to have such a march, and as far as I know, he will be the main speaker. The march still remains a part of the R3volution.
May 15th, 2008 at 1:54 pm
Yes, it’s true that Ron encourages the march and will be the main speaker; its totally his own personal choice as a U.S. representative and individual in general. he cannot use the march to stump for his presidential bid and it’s his campaign that cannot cooridinate efforts with the march. I think there is a group for the march as some people posted a link in past blog threads. i forget; could someone who knows help?

One of my favorite parts of this article is this(I copied it).
He also discourses at length on the monetary question, a subject on which I am so abysmally ignorant that I could pass for a Fox News anchor.
Also, when I hear people like this writer talk about a lack of charisma (which I think he DOES have), or stumbling over words, I think of the people in the Bible, like the apostle Paul, who thought of himself as being no speaker, and Moses who thought of himself as no leader, but God chose them in spite of and because of their own-conceived shortcomings. He can use the most humble of people, and do a mighty work through them. I see this in Ron Paul.
May 15th, 2008 at 4:36 pm
I can’t wait for May 18th - I’m buying 2 for our lunch room at work - to educate people - oh and I’m Canadian and I pray everyday Ron Paul will be your next President - because our Prime Minister is following the same path as your so-called leader of your country and Canada (and the world) needs Ron Paul too!
This is a fair review from a Democrat - he said it like it was and though he made that comment at the end - perhaps he’s just reiterating the fact that the media is trying to help influence the elections. They told everyone daily he coudn’t win - and many believed them… but will they believe someone saying it to them now? Hopefully not.
So that is how I optimistically take his last statement.
BRAVO - Matt your doing a great job with the updates and the off topic statements…
but I’ve repeatedly seen and I sincerely miss and so do agree with these statements… and that is BRING THE COUNTER back… ESPECIALLY NOW…after this WONDERFUL book!!!… We NEED the counter back - Ron Paul IS STILL IN THE RACE - he has repeatedly said “it’s up to his supporters what to do” and “as long as the numbers and the support continue to grow I will continue to do what I am doing” - He’s still spreading the message - He’s still on the nomination ballot - HE’S STILL IN THE RACE - we need the ticker back so people can start donating again!!!
(sorry for Caps Lock but I really had to emphasize some things…lol… and if i were to “say” that directly to Matt i would have dramatically and emphatically said those exact words!)

Excellent review. I do believe Bill Kauffman to be a closet Paulite. I am planning on writing a review for my local paper here. It’s a small town and 100 might read it but that’s 100 more to get the message to.
May 15th, 2008 at 9:24 pm
Yes, I have been wondering what happened to the counter.
It makes sense for it to continually see the success of the donations. This helps others to see the donations growth and say, Yes I will donate too (or again).
Regarding march videos as long as the ideas and communications of the march stay on the march site, I do not see any harm in showing the videos as INSPIRATION to all of us and to all of the new folks who join the meetups and the Revolution. I think a number of the videos of Dr. Pauls interviews or messages for his campaign should run continually as well for INSPIRATION.
Thanks DrDave for your motivation and inspiration.
Matt here is a presidential campaign suggestion.
I want to see a national banner day campaign. Get all the permits required to have huge ronpaul revolution banners with a one line tagline** different one on each banner for each principle we stand for, and then in very large letters ronpaul2008.com. examples** Do you enjoy free access to the internet? Do you value your privacy? Do you want our troops home? Do you really know what REAL ID is? What does taking your babies genes mean to you? Read the Constitution, Save our Country! WE hire the government to guide NOT to be BIG Brother. Need one about delegates rights and the list goes on and on and on.
My idea is to have the banners up on major highways during commuter traffic areas along all interstates on the bridges that cross over the interstates in major cities or other congested areas where commuters have no choice but to see them. each one they see has a different message along the way at 5 miles an hour. And major buildings in cities where traffic gets clogged. maybe do this before the freedom march, and again a month before the convention.
This will plant some seeds revolution seeds. This should get media attention!

From what I’ve read of your comments here you would definitely improve their news reporting - I used to watch them alot but haven’t since they excluded Ron Paul from their debate.

Dr Paul is a man of wisdom and integrity…although I don’t want to write it here, I believe we can figure out why the money counter isn’t in a prominent location.

Hi, Barbara,
Do you mean, Do you enjoy a nonregulated Internet? In the nonhumanistic sense, free is absense of money for service. Internet access involves it for money. If it doesn’t, beware, because likely it is anything but free, that it will cost you somehow, some way, some day. Unless, of course, each person can create his own Internet. Hmm.
I think your recommendation could well be used, Barbara. Just going for clarity. This message is for you and whoever reads it and your message because more than one person reads these message, meaning, readers, not headquarters only, can carry your recommendation. And if your recommendation is used, implemented?
Keep the recommendations comin’, Barbara!

In regard to Dr. Dave’s post at 10:25am yesterday, I have been doing some reading on the FEC (Campaign Election Committee) to try to get a better handle on what they are in charge of. The online ‘dictionary’ defines the FEC as:;
“to disclose campaign finance information, to enforce the provisions of the law such as the limits and prohibitions on contributions, and to oversee the public funding of Presidential elections.”
It is shocking to find out that here we are in the middle of an election year, and the FEC is not functioning, because it consists of 2 people instead of 6. It seems to me that matter should have been corrected before the beginning of the election. But I can just see the common, every-day people reading articles about this in their newspapers and saying “There’s no way my candidate has misused campaign financing”, if they even care, so long as their candidate gets elected. I didn’t see anything that told me that the FEC committee has to do with voter fraud, as far as votes being dropped, and that’s what I would like something done about PRONTO, as far as the West Virginia incident, where we have 2 pictures to compare, showing over 800 votes were dropped for Dr. Paul in the same location, in a 45-minute time span.
The website that handles voter fraud in West Virginia has already been posted. And I, along with, I hope others, have sent the site showing those 2 pictures to that website that handles voter fraud in WV. We want that corrected right away, and we need to demand it. We have proof through those pictures.
http://www.wvvotes2.com/fraud/index.php office that handles voter fraud in WV
http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm33/Quiltskate/Raleigh-RPlostseveralhundredvotes10.jpg The 2 pictures showing voting returns within 45 minutes of each other, where Dr. Paul lost over 800 votes.
May 16th, 2008 at 8:07 am
I just wrote and posted, but it ended up out in the “ozone” somewhere. Then when I tried to click on my post again, the page came up saying I had already posted it. I don’t know where it went to, but it didn’t get posted. I mentioned what I read online as the definition of the FEC(Federal Election Committee), and the things they do. I also talked about the votes in West Virginia that were dropped in a 45-minute span from Dr. Paul’s vote count. I didn’t see anything in what I read about the FEC that said they have anything to do with mis-count of votes. I included the website again, showing the 2 pictures that prove the ocurrance of those lost votes. And I also included the website of the office in West Virginia that handles voter fraud. Both of these sites have been posted already, both under either ‘Nebraska and West Virginia’ string, and maybe also under the other string referring to those primaries. Maybe my post went into outerspace because I copied and pasted those 2 websites.
Anyway, my main interest is in getting copies of those 2 pictures via the websight that was posted, to the voter fraud office of West Virginia, and demanding that be taken care of. Let’s don’t let this just go by. I printed out the form on the voter fraud website and printed out copies of the 2 pictures from that website, and mailed it to the address on the voter fraud site. I hope more will do the same.

The Federal Election Commission (or FEC) is an independent regulatory agency that was founded in 1975 by the United States Congress to regulate the campaign finance legislation in the United States. It was created in a provision of the 1975 amendment to the Federal Election Campaign Act. It describes its duties as “to disclose campaign finance information, to enforce the provisions of the law such as the limits and prohibitions on contributions, and to oversee the public funding of Presidential elections.”
I found this online as the meaning and purpose of the FEC.
May 16th, 2008 at 9:17 am
Marilyn,
Thanks for the links. (Your original post showed up.) I have used your link to contact the office in charge of vote fraud. I was respectful in my correspondence, and requested some clarification on the issue. I am hopeful that everyone on this blog will do the same.
