Louisville Ron Paul Book Signing Update
Due to the expected large turnout for Dr. Paul’s signing at Borders, this will be a ticketed event.
Numbered line tickets will be available at the cash registers at Borders Shelbyville road location as soon as the doors open Saturday morning. These line tickets will be given out with purchase of Dr. Paul’s book and will help insure that as many people as possible get through the autograph line in an orderly and timely fashion. The ticket holders will then be called up in groups of 50 to avoid having to wait in a long line.

To sit and sign the number of books Dr. Paul signs would leave my hands in pain. I admire him so much.

Smart retail management. My hat’s off to the person who came up with a way for people to browse the store instead of waiting in line.

I trust they will not limit the signing only to people who purchase their books at that store on Saturday.

It is smart management. It insures that the person buys the book at the Shelbyville Border’s location in order to have to autographed. At the New York Border’s signing they ran out of books and people were going to other locations, buying the book and coming back. I hope they are stocking an ample amount of books this time.
To Bob,
They probably won’t restrict the signing to people who buy the book there, but those who don’t will be at the end of the line and out of luck if time runs out.

Off topic, but also a book signing: I hope the main page will feature the San Diego event on May 23 soon.

I’ll be heading up to Louisville Saturday morning from the Knoxville area. Probably heading back Saturday night or Sunday morning. Any info regarding a place to stay overnight close to the venue would be appreciated. See you all there.

Only 5 something hours away. I going. I feel very fortunate and excited that I will have a chance to see one of America’s true American. America - I like that word. Ron Paul represents the America I’m proud of. I get so bummed from MSM airheads. Why anyone would be intererested in Obama/Hillary thing is beyound me. Yet it dominates all. Go figure. Hey, what happen to the “surge” working in Iraq?

Hey Chris,
I am from Morristown. My husband and I are going as well. It might be hard to find accomodations in Louisville, due to the NRA National Convention is at the same time. We haven’t decided if we are staying overnight, yet. I am going to research soon, I will leave any info. I find on this thread.

I’m going with my son. We are leaving early Saturday and will camp out somewhere on the way back. If you travel I 64 a way either direction you should be able to find a room somewhere. It may be 10-20 miles out but lots of motels in the vincinity.
