“The Revolution: A Manifesto” launches today
Although it has been available for the last couple of weeks, today marks the official launch date for Dr. Paul’s new book, The Revolution: A Manifesto.
Currently, it is #8 on the bestselling books list on Amazon.com, and #1 in Political Doctrines, #1 in Politics (Philosophy), and #1 in another Politics category, Leaders and Notable People. I have a sneaking suspicion that it may climb even higher in the overall books category.

Buy a book for a family member, friend, co-worker, etc. I gave my extra copy to a co-worker; I asked him to sign the inside cover and add hte date he finished the book and that he pass it along to another person and ask them to do the same. sort of a traveling book idea. hopefully it continues to spread the message fo freedom, liberty and prosperity for the months and years to come.

I really like that idea! Of course, my signed copy, which Marilyn in Lake Jackson is getting signed for me, will be sealed up and become a family heirloom, but I REALLY like your idea of a “traveling book” for one of the other copies I am purchasing. We will be passing a copy on to other Homeschoolers in our area.

A group of us patriots met at the local Barnes & Noble this morning. We cleared out their (admittedly “paul-try”) inventory of hardcovers except for 4 or 5 copies, and bought all 3 of the audio versions they had in stock. I’ll be bringing a copy or two to all the local Republican functions we attend & everywhere else we go.
Not sure if others have experienced this yet, but the displays & inventory at this particular B&N - of all manner of drivel penned, ghost-written, or attributed to Tweedledee, Tweedledum, and Tweedledumber - is nauseatingly expansive….
When inventory & discretion allow, it may even be advisable to suggest and/or assist local booksellers in the careful placement and salesmanship associated with Dr. Paul’s treatise…..:-)
I hate to sound suspicious or skeptical without foundation - but early indications would suggest that the promotion, distribution, placement, and marketing of this latest work of genius by the “brick & mortar” variety outlets may be done with an eye toward marginalizing it every bit as much as the redundant attempts to marginalize the Champion of the Constitution in the debates & old media over the last 1 1/2 years….
No matter, it’s not as if we were ever relying on them for anything anyway
Why not liberty? Why not truth? Why not the Constitution?

Well, right here in Lake Jackson, Dr. Paul’s hometown, the 2 main bookstores haven’t planned to order copies of the book yet. I told them they need to get some ordered and put them in the front of the store, because it is at the top of the selling chart at Amazon.com, and they need to be availble here. Please everyone, call your local bookstores.

Off topic: Matt - Is there any chance of a new video update from Dr. Paul to supporters in which he will mention the date of 7/12 as a good day for a march on DC? Last time, he mentioned the 6/21 date, which fell through. In order to have the largest turn-out possible, we must all be on the same page here. The Granny Warriors and others are promoting a week-long family event in South Dakota the week of 7/4. The grassroots are getting confused and most cannot afford to attend multiple out-of-state rallies. Speaking for myself, I will not make travel arrangements for any march date until I hear the date from the lips of our candidate. I know many others who feel the same way. Please see what you can do! I just came back from a Border’s and they had 2 copies which were still unpacked. I charmed them into unpacking them and bring one to me and put the other on the shelf. I then asked why it was not on display at the front of the store under “New Releases” and he said they have to leave one on the shelf. I offered to put my copy on display and he said they don’t have enough room. That’s ridiculous. I told him that it is #8 now on amazon.com and they did not know. I went to make sure he put the book on the shelf and he did so I bought the other one since I already ordered from amazon.

Somewhere in the posts, I can’t remember which one, somebody mentioned the rules for writing in candidates in various states. Some states don’t allow write ins unless the candidate registers as a write in. Some states don’t allow it at all.
In the states that allow write ins with registration, is there something we (I) can do to make sure Dr Paul’s name is on the ballot. The candidate needs to file the paperwork, and sometimes a signed petition is required.
Is there a way to get this started now? States have differing application dates, and if Dr Paul on the off chance doesn’t get the nod at the convention contingency plans should be moving forward.
We don’t want to get caught off guard.

Matt and National, it’s press release time. The book is #1 on Amazon on its release day. This is hugely noteworthy. (And Dr. Paul did this without Oprah’s help. It is extremely difficult to overtake books she has endorsed.)
