Alaska is Ron Paul Country
If you missed our Daily Update from yesterday, check it out here. The title says it all! Alaska is Ron Paul country. Dedicated, courteous, and knowledgeable Ron Paul supporters went the extra mile and were able to achieve many of their goals.
Here’s an excerpt:
There is also much good news to report from Alaska, where the hard work, dedication, and great attitude of Ron Paul supporters resulted in several planks being added to the official Alaskan Republican Party platform. Several resolutions, which will stand for the next two years, were also agreed upon.
Planks added include:
“We recognize the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects as guaranteed in the 4th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution; recognize the right of the people to be secure from any search or seizure that violates the 5th Amendment right against self-incrimination; and oppose legislation that violates these two Amendments including, but not limited to, any infringements that may be contained in the Patriot Act, the Real ID Act, NAIS Act, and the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act. Furthermore, we propose that these acts be repealed immediately.”
“In jury trials of criminal cases, the defendant shall enjoy the right to argue both the facts of the case and the merits of the law under which the charge has been made.”
Alaska was a big victory for the Ron Paul Revolution, and those of us in other states can take encouragement from this as we work to change our local Republican Party. These successes were achieved because those supporters knew the rules and carried themselves well, impressing party officials so much that they added a resolution in support of Dr. Paul speaking at the Republican National Convention.
State by state, one step at a time - we will get our Republic back.

I am finding it a little more difficult to promote Ron Paul head on (either minds are made up, they think he dropped out, or they say Ron Paul is a wasted vote). They don’t understand the issues and aren’t aware of what Ron Paul represents. I am using a new tactic. It’s working well and I believe it will improve our base for local government, delegates, and onto DC.
People are concerned with the economy and tax day is coming…I am using that as a lead in to Aaron Russo’s America:Freedom to Fascism. DVD’s are on sale (til April 15th?) in bulk $1.00 each. http://aftfmovie.com. You can google the movie for free.
Once they are educated…(Ron Paul is in the movie) then they will be open to learn about the One candidate who will represent them in this election, Ron Paul.
I consider this my monthly campaign donation. I also ordered small constitutions to give away. I am finding that new recruits aren’t willing to buy 50 DVD’s so they are buying 10 at a time from me. I will be ordering more often, but that’s ok, keeps me out of trouble.
PS: For those who aren’t aware, Freedom to Fascism is a professionally made DVD showing that the IRS and income tax is illegal. For a catch phrase I mention (subject line of email) that there is a $50,000 reward for anyone who can find the law that allows the federal government to charge the average working citizen for his labor. The $50,000 is mentioned in the DVD by an ex-IRS agent who knows the Truth. Not in the constitution.
If only our churches would show this DVD…Christian “Bush” voters don’t know what conservative really means.

Coast to coast interview.
I hope someone who cares about the Ron Paul presidential election gets this email to Ron Paul. The issue of national defense is the one hindrance to Ron Paul presidential run. Everywhere I read about Ron Paul, people have an incorrect understanding of the constitution on protecting America and thus Ron Paul.
Ron has not articulated this issue very well if at all.
Ron must clearly articulate the constitutional position of letters of marquee and right of reprisal on coast to Coast Monday night. Also, explain CLEARLY without interruption how we could have avoided invading and destroying Iraq by applying the letters to Osama Bin Laden. CLEARLY explain you support spending $$$ on defending America, regrouping our military so depleted today they can hardly function. Other nations around the world have to start providing their own general defense.
Ron, CLEARLY explain how should CONGRESS declare war with you as president you would go to war kick the required Bu.. and get home, not stay around, and nation build.
Ron America is stuck not supporting you because of ignorance on our constitution. You have not CLEARLY articulated the constructional issue of defense or war when needed and your procession as directed by congress.
Make us proud on Coast to Coast this week. Thanks for picking up the gavel and continuing. I am making every attempt at national delegate from Minnesota and will be standing proud voting for Ron Paul as president.

Freedom4Me = I am on my second batch of 50 DVDs of America:Freedon to Fascism and am distributing them to libraries as well as people I view as ‘Changeable and somewhat interested’. I am amazed at how many people do not know Ron Paul but say things as if they were Ron Paul. Those are the people I am giving DVD’s to with the request that they pass it off to friends that think like they do. My goal is to get five or more viewing familes of each DVD - who knows what the final tally will be. Aaron Russo’s film is powerful and those that see it for the first time are sometimes scared and overwhelmed at the content. I find that viewers contact me for more information about the revolution. They might still vote their party’s candidate but they are learning valuable information for the future. I wish there was a video of a ‘Check List’ to ask your candidate about their views on issues.’ Maybe we should just produce a brochure and distribute the master to all for recopying. I just made a brochure to pass out on “LOST LIBERTIES” by listing all the executive orders and info on Homeland Security. I did it in MS Word 2007 as a three fold on 8.5 x 11 paper.

We need to get thousands of people to sign the Grannywarrior petition, I’m signer 1536 and there are less than 1800 signers so far. We need a huge amount of people to sign the petition to make it effective.

Short story:
I met 2 of my neighbors at the mail box. We had a bad snowstorm and one man was saying yes, I had to drive 30 mph and 4 local banks were all closed. The other replied “oh, you mean because of the economy”?
Well, I couldn’t stand it I had to jump in. The rest is history, they both have DVD’s they are sharing with their families this weekend.
PS: (The banks were closed because of the storm)

Hi Freedom4Me - the new version of MS Word 2007 has me perplexed - in brochure form it won’t allow me to copy and paste - so here is the list I compiled in text format:
FEMA was created in a series of Executive Orders. A Presidential Executive Order, whether Constitutional or not, becomes law simply by its publication in the Federal Registry. Congress is bypassed.
FEMA has only spent about 6 percent of its budget on national emergencies, the bulk of their funding has been used for the construction of underground facilities to assure continuity of government in case of a major emergency – foreign or domestic.
Executive Orders and Bills passed by Congress associated with FEMA or The Federal Government that suspend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights:
EXECUTIVE ORDER # 12656 appointed the National Security Council as the principal body that should consider emergency powers. This allows the government to increase domestic intelligence and surveillance of US Citizens and would restrict the freedom of movement within the United States and grant the government the right to isolate large groups of civilians.
EXECUTIVE ORDER # 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft including commercial aircraft.
EXECUTIVE ORDER # 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways and storage facilities, public and private.
EXECUTIVE ORDER # 10990 allows the government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports
EXECUTIVE ORDER # 10995 allows the government to seize and control the ‘communication media’.
EXECUTIVE ORDER # 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels and minerals, public and private.
EXECUTIVE ORDER # 10998 allows the government to take over all food supplies and resources, public and private – including farms and equipment.
EXECUTIVE ORDER # 11921 allows the government to control the mechanisms of production and distribution of energy sources and the flow of money in US financial institutions in any undefined National Emergency. It also provides that when a state of emergency is declared by the President, Congress cannot review the declaration for a period of six months.
EXECUTIVE ORDER #11051 grants authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in times of increased international tensions and economic or financial crisis.
EXECUTIVE ORDER # 11000 authorizes the government to mobilize American civilians into work brigades under government supervision.
THE PATRIOT ACT: Third party holders of your financial, library, travel, video rental, phone, medical, church, synagogue and mosque records can be searched without your knowledge or consent. It also allows Law Enforcement to conduct warrantless
searches of your records, place of residence and confiscate your personal property without your knowledge or consent.
THE DOMESTIC SECURITY ENHANCEMENT ACT OF 2003 instructs government to build a database of citizen DNA information aimed at ‘detecting’ investigating, prosecuting, preventing or responding to terrorist activities.
THE MILITARY COMMISSIONS ACT strips the courts of jurisdiction to hear or consider habeas corpus appeals of anyone held in US custody as an unlawful enemy combatant. It defines an unlawful enemy combatant as ‘an individual engaged in hostilities against the United States who is not a lawful enemy combatant” The definition of ‘hostilities’ is broad enough to include any American citizen who is acting in a way the President deems ‘hostile’ to the United States. The ‘Act’ prohibits any person from invoking the Geneva Conventions or their protocols as a source of rights in any action in any US court.
NATIONAL SECURITY PRESIDENTIAL directive #51 and HOMELAND SECURITY directive #20 – signed by President Bush in May 2007 states that The Secretary of Homeland Security shall serve as the President’s lead agent for coordinating overall continuity of operations and activities of executive departments and agencies. It allows the President to control and coordinate all three branches of
of government in the event of a “Catastrophic Emergency” Catastrophic Emergency means any incident that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the US population, infrastructure, environment, economy or government functions.
NSPD/HSPD Annex A: is Classified
NSPD/HSPD 20, 51 Section 24 – Security is Classified
KELLOG, BROWN & ROOT recently was awarded a 385 million dollar open-ended contract by Homeland Security which provides for establishing ‘temporary detention facilities and processing areas on US soil.

Thank you for that link - that was useful.
I’m 100% focused on the only thing that let RP win the Convention in September. And to make that happened, we need delegates. The vote in Feb did not pick delegates..
The formula is:
Delgates+RNC|Sep=RP2008
And what we need to now, is simply to get people to sign up, and later show up – just be there.
