The Revolution in Virginia
This in from Don Rasmussen, Special Assistant, Ron Paul 2008 PCC -
R3VOLUTION IN ACTION: Update #1
There is so much going on around the country that stays below the radar that I thought it would be good to give everyone just one of the many examples of positive change that is taking place as a result of our movement. In Virginia, hundreds of new people have gotten involved in the GOP. Brian Gentry, our Virginia coordinator, has been doing such a great job of contacting supporters and giving them information and tools that they need to engage in their local, county, and state parties that I asked him to write up a brief overview of the process and give us a couple of examples of what has been going on. Here is his write-up:
Virginia Delegate Process
The delegate process in Virginia is all about organizing supporters and getting them to turn out at their local Republican Unit Committee Meeting.
There are over 100 Republican Unit Committees in Virginia. Each unit committee will hold a meeting, where delegates will be chosen to attend the district convention in which they reside. At each of Virginia’s 11 district conventions, three delegates and three alternate delegates will be chosen to attend the Republican National Convention in September.
Our goal is two-fold. First, we want to get Ron Paul Republicans chosen at each district convention to attend the national convention. Second, we want to make the GOP a viable political party again by getting limited government conservatives active and thus returning the party back to its Taft, Goldwater, and Reagan days.
Here’s how the process works:
Once a unit committee issues a call for a meeting we will then alert all of our supporters located within that unit of the date and time, as well as let them know if there is a registration form to fill out and how to get that registration form. We’ll also see if there are any of them that would like to run for Chair of their local GOP. If that’s the case, we’ll help equip them with the tools necessary to win.
Since there are so many unit committees to keep up with, and since the GOP is not friendly with those like us who actually believe in limited government, our supporters in Virginia have been great at attending local GOP meetings and sharing whatever information they find with us. They’ve also been great at helping call and email supporters in their area and ask them to become delegates and to become active in the Republican Party. Virginians take their liberties seriously!
Some experiences thus far:
Alexandria:
In Alexandria City, we had Chris Kochouroff, a Constitutional lawyer who has actually helped Dr. Paul draft legislation, run for chair of the City of Alexandria Republican Committee. Despite deciding to run one week before the election, Chris made a great show.
The current GOP Chair, fearing that those “Ron Paul Crazies,” you know, those people who actually believe in less taxes and less government, were going to take over, went so far as to get former Governor, former presidential candidate and current United States Senate candidate Jim Gilmore to step in and endorse him. But he didn’t stop there. Emails were also circulated to Republicans in Alexandria that the Ron Paul “kooks” were trying to take over and that they needed to show up and vote against them.
After all of that, the current 4 year chair was only able to turn out 159 people, and Chris turned out 100 — in just a week’s time.
But taking over the party isn’t the idea. The GOP people are missing the point. We’re not trying to “take over” anything. We simply believe strongly in true Republican principles of free markets, limited government, personal liberty, and a strict adherence to the United States Constitution, and are tired of OUR party being led by fake, big-government socialist republicans. We’re tired of Democrats all over the country being able to turn out 2-3 times as many voters. Just as the great Founders of our Republic, we’re not going to take it anymore!! We’re here to stay.
Arlington:
The filing deadline to be a delegate in Arlington County, VA was this Tuesday at 5pm. I had been collecting forms from supporters for a couple of weeks and went to deliver those about 10 minutes before the deadline. Not wearing any Ron Paul gear, I walked in and handed them the forms. A man immediately came from the back and said, “Are these the infamous Ron Paul forms?” Obviously, this shows one thing: The word is spreading all over Virginia among the establishment that the Ron Paul people are organizing and getting involved in local politics.
Harrisonburg:
I spent one Saturday all day on the phone calling GOP Unit Chairs and asking them if they had issued a call for a mass meeting yet. It’s amazing how the tone of their voices change when they learn that I am a Ron Paul supporter. Harrisonburg was probably the most extreme. The lady I was speaking with was being very friendly to me, until that is, she found out I was working for Ron Paul. Once she found that out she immediately exclaimed, “I’m not telling you anything about our meetings. I don’t like your candidate,” and then she slammed the phone down on me. So much for being a big tent, I guess??
As you can see, we are building a lasting movement around the country by getting involved in our communities and helping to build a better, more constitutional Republican Party. I strongly encourage everyone to do the same in your own towns, in every county, and every state. If you have questions about getting started, we are here to help. Sign up as a precinct leader and a delegate at https://voters.ronpaul2008.com/grassroots/ and then contact your local Republican Party and ask how you, too, can get involved. If we are to succeed, we must engage and work toward our long term goals. If we can replicate what is happening in Virginia all over the country, we can quickly grow to be a force for good within the GOP. That means working hard at every level to make the party the pro-Constitution, pro-peace party that it should be.

No matter what happens with the presidential race we still win.

…a good, encouraging report…
March 3rd, 2008 at 1:27 pm
Poll numbers, in Minnesota the polls said Ron Paul had 5%-6% on caucus day. Ron received 16% of the straw poll. As we continue the causes stages Ron Paul continues collecting large delegate counts. In one district over the last weekend Ron Paul, supporters collected three national delegates, 10 of 15 state delegates. A lot happens after the media leaves caucus vote day.

I think Mr. Paul realizes he is in this for the long haul. If he loses we all lose.
A quote from Mr Paul posted June 2002
———-
Terror and fear are used to achieve complacency and obedience, especially when citizens are deluded into believing they are still a free people. The changes, they are assured, will be minimal, short-lived, and necessary, such as those that occur in times of a declared war. Under these conditions, most citizens believe that once the war is won, the restrictions on their liberties will be reversed. For the most part, however, after a declared war is over, the return to normalcy is never complete. In an undeclared war, without a precise enemy and therefore no precise ending, returning to normalcy can prove illusory.
———-
It’s never too late, right Mr Paul?

Should start taping those phone calls… might come in handy later. Lawsuits? Delegate challenges? Or…?

Go Virginia! Alright!
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:53 pm
Hi folks
This is psychology. You have been positioned as the enemy LIBERTARIAN group who want to capture the party. If you are enemy then they will not talk with you, they will fight with you, even if in other circumstances they would agree with you. Many good Republicans are fooled by this psychology and while in other circumstances they would agree with you and you would be suprised how many of your belive they share, they would fight with you and they would not listen to you.
It is the same reason why MSM are always adding Libertarian to characteristic of Ron Paul!!!!
To many Conservatives Ron Paul is not True Republican. Why??? Because of this simple trick.
The cure for this is simple.
You need in every argument you say quote some famous Republican like Ronald Reagan. You need to position yourself as the Republican who know his party history and belive in their root belifs. They can fight Libertarian but soon they will start puzzling if you will position them against their hero.
Most of them are Republican, because of their family story, their business, friends etc. You should already know how little they about the party policies.
Also please repeat THAT YOU ARE SICK AND TIRED TO LOOSE AGAIN WITH DEMOCRAT. They may not realize what the party policy is, but they sure know who their party is ENEMY. Even if they will be suspicious about you as the “libertarian”, remember that enemy of my enemy is my friend.
I hope someone will send this to precinct leader because it is very important.
March 3rd, 2008 at 5:08 pm
I signed up to be a precinct leader but have never heard back from anyone in the campaign. I get mail from the campaign at the email address listed but no response to my offer to be a precinct leader. I organized a Meetup group and ran two meeting ads in the local newspaper - four people showed up from the ads but no one from the meetup mailing. At least I am trying I guess.
March 3rd, 2008 at 5:22 pm
This is the kind of stuff I like reading, except we must not show our hand. As long as HQ is saying this is going on in many states I believe it. I believe you guys realize this stuff can not be widely known or it could hurt the effort.
March 3rd, 2008 at 5:32 pm
This IS happening in many States. In Colorado this weekend we had very positive county assmeblies. My county assembly was astounding. No real visible support for McCain, even congresswoman Marylin Musgrave gave a tepid speech about supporting McCain. In contrast the RP folks were there in droves and we are all focused on getting our RP supporters to National. Ron Paul supporters are growing at each step, as alternates move to delegate and as people move away from McCain towards the best conservative in the race! Hang in there Ya’all!
GO RON!
March 3rd, 2008 at 5:40 pm
John, a million thanks for that news.
March 3rd, 2008 at 5:53 pm
When we attended our republican “county” meeting to sign up as delegates. I recognized so many RP supporters; however, everyone was “very” low key.
I saw others that I knew from business, NOT RP supporters, and they were surprised to see me (I’ve NEVER been inolved in politics…pretty much hate politics)…, I just said that I thought it was time I got involved. R. P. was never mentioned. We intend to play it the same way at the “County” convention so as “not” to draw attention to ourselves. Our goal is to get picked!
March 3rd, 2008 at 5:58 pm
****, when I signed up to be a precinct leader, I picked an “open” precinct, which I understood to mean nobody was covering that precinct. Then I brought up the map of that neighborhood, which was right here in town, watched the training tapes, then brought up the list of phone numbers and started making calls. Then took the map and went to that neighborhood and started knocking on doors. I have asked a couple of friends to help me. Things are going fine. I don’t think we need to wait for help or further instructions from anyone - just fine your neighborhood and go. At least that’s what I’m doing, and people are being very receptive to me.
March 3rd, 2008 at 5:59 pm
Mr. Weber, I should have said. I put in the first name, and it got bleeped. Go figure.
March 3rd, 2008 at 6:04 pm
Way to go Virginia.
March 3rd, 2008 at 6:43 pm
Marilyn in Lake Jackson, YOU ROCK! I have followed your posts for awhile, and you are a true inspiration! Keep up the great work.
GO RON PAUL!
March 3rd, 2008 at 7:35 pm
Gees, even the Ron Paul site is bleeping my name - alas, it has been my nickname for 67 years - I wonder if they bleep ‘Peter’ too?? Sorry Marilyn that you got in the bleeping fire - LOL! I am working in the area one on one but they keep asking for you to sign up and when you do you seem to be ignored. I sent a followup email as well. Perhaps because of my first name the site is not accepting mail from me???
March 3rd, 2008 at 7:35 pm
Heather, thank you so much. I appreciate you too.
March 3rd, 2008 at 7:47 pm
Mr. Weber (LOL), when I got in, I went to “Get Involved” at the right of the home page, then clicked on “become a precint leader”, then followed the instructions. I wouldn’t think you would have been ignored because of your first name, since they did let you sign up that way. I know you were kidding about that, and so am I. Anyway, since you are out and about your neighborhood, you’re doing okay, I’m sure.
March 3rd, 2008 at 7:49 pm
We all need a laugh now and then. Thanks “Mr. Weber”.
March 3rd, 2008 at 8:56 pm
Monitor; Please be aware, I am a precinct leader. Also a delegate in my County.
My husband is a delegate also. When I sign in as asked for precinct leader,
then try to sign up on the dark blue banner for delegate, nothing happens. Do
you have us down and counted? Thank you.
March 3rd, 2008 at 9:08 pm
Hi Marilyn - yes I did that on the site but never heard back with a password nor an answer to my email asking why. Just a few minutes ago I tried to log in and it refused saying my password was not right. So I asked for my password to be emailed to me - and, you guessed it - still no response even though they said it was mailed. I checked with my server and they claim that they are not blocking emails from info@ronpaul2008.com at all. So I even whitelisted the site on my management page. Still nothing. I’m not sure what to do other than what I am doing. I plan to attend the Libertarian Meeting on Wednesday and see how many Ron Paul Supporters are there and get them to the next meetup. You can try emailing me directly to test the system at **** at seventhheavenranch dot net if you have the time.
March 3rd, 2008 at 10:07 pm
Dickweber, I just now did the email. Hope you got it. When I filled out the little form to precinct leader, I was given a temporary password, then a few minutes later was emailed a permanent password. I don’t know why you did get the email. I haven’t used the password to contact anyone, but have saved it. I just simply clicked on the map they had for me, and also the list of phone numbers, then just did my own thing! I need to go back and re-read the things I saved to see if I’m supposed to do anything else. But I’ve just been calling people, and did some door-to-door in the neighborhood of the map that came up for the precinct they assigned to me. Did you get my email?
March 3rd, 2008 at 10:08 pm
I mean I don’t know why you did not get the email with a permanent password.
March 3rd, 2008 at 11:15 pm
Thanks Marilyn, I got the personal email although the campaign ****’d out my name again…..sometimes being the scourge of the earth has its drawbacks - rolling on floor laughing!!!
March 4th, 2008 at 12:07 am
I am rolling on the floor and laughing also…….Marilyn finally cracked the code and ‘dickweber’ worked. Maybe we should put Marilyn in charge of fighting Faux News and other news stations for bleeping out Ron Paul. Your’e a hoot!

A valuable tool we have at each of our disposal, is the Internet “CHAT” rm. There are a lot of political chat rooms out there, WE NEED a show of force there as well. Not content with just the daily blog, lead me to the chat rooms. There is a ton of Obama, Clinton babble going on out there, and after tomorrow HALF of them will not know what to do with themselves. Fertile Ground for recruiting New RON PAUL support.
Most of the surprised people about Ron Paul, are the ones who thought that he dropped out, happy to hear he is still running. If nothing else we can make a presence on the net, and get the sheeple thinking.
This is a great opportunity to contact between “30 to 90? people at a time, every day. That’s hundreds a week, per person, many, many more if we ALL go out and CHAT UP RON PAUL. Give them the facts of Ron Paul truths, and it will go a long way.
I am going to repost this, to hopefully get some more folks out there to go along with the others that are already doing it.
Thanks, see ya on the CHAT line………RON PAUL 08′
March 4th, 2008 at 5:35 am
Great idea Pete. I don’t really know where to go, as for as the chatrooms. But I agree that we should do that. If you can suggest the best place I could go to, I’d appreciate it. Thanks.
March 4th, 2008 at 7:18 am
There is private sites, password protected where patriots could speak in private..it’s by invitation only..it has sections where you can post news, pictures, reviews and chats..
March 4th, 2008 at 9:17 am
Tom in Europe……………good observation. I think we all may be too close to the forest to see the trees, sometimes.
March 4th, 2008 at 10:51 am
re: Harrisonburg, how can that lady get away with that?? don’t they have to give that information to anyone who asks?? how can they choose to just reveal it to people who support the candidate(s) they support?! i could understand maybe if it were someone from the democratic party, but a supporter of someone running in their own party who has a right to attend those meetings? i’m confused about how they can get away with things like that — i agree with whoever said we should be taping these conversations… if nothing else, the lawyer mentioned in this post might be able to help with something…? sigh…
March 4th, 2008 at 1:31 pm
I agree with Pete. We need chat rooms.
March 4th, 2008 at 2:21 pm
If you are interested in starting a chat room you can sign up for “Yahoo Messenger”, install it on you computer and creat a private chat room or public. You can also instant message (IM) your contacts to let them know the name of the chat room where you can all meet up. Go Ron Paul!!!
March 4th, 2008 at 4:47 pm
I too thought Ron Paul dropped out. I get a lot of e mails from his supporters telling me about other states information but did not realize I could still to be involved. Call me naive. I will get on my e mails and be a precinct captain or make calls. My son and I both voted for Ron Paul in the primary. Keep plugging away.
March 4th, 2008 at 6:27 pm
Ever since I started leaving, shall we say inflammatory comments and registered to blog on political(mostly democratic) sites I have had amazing problems with my isp, yahoo.I am now in the process of dropping them and am going to try G Mail for a while.Lets see how long it takes them to find me.
I have a small e commerce company so this could get very testy but my country is worth every effort. As long as Ron Paul is willing I will be there.in one form or another.(aliases are next)
Hey folks want to get some action.Go on the Times or Tribune and add a Ron Paul solution to the Democratic Circus.I try and make sure they have to think something up just to make a comment.
You go Ron Paul,we are with you all the way.
March 4th, 2008 at 9:02 pm
Huckabee quit. That leaves Ron Paul as the backup republican candidate! Go Ron!
March 4th, 2008 at 11:31 pm
I am what you would call a typical young american male. I wake everyday to do a job i love, and hate, just to make ends meet. I have always been interested in many things, but never politics. That is until I saw some of Ron Pauls speeches. I felt very moved by him, like I was hearing the truth for the first time. I thought to myself , “If people hear this mans message, there would be no way he could lose!” So I began to research Ron Paul. I was shocked to see how he was treated at many of the debates, being laughed at by men who claimed to be from the same party. To me that was not only absurd, but seemed more like high school bullying. Our media is covering the most importent event in our country. Instead of delivering a well informed report, they point and make fun of what he or she says, never touching on what the real issues are. I see Ron Paul speak of our civil liberties, and I see McCain laugh them away. I just wanted to put that out there. All of you people who come to these sites, researching and trying to make things happen, you are all my heros. True patriots fighting for our freedoms. Thanks

Tom from Europe wrote: “Many good Republicans”
With all due respect, Tom, ‘good’ and ‘Republican’ are two mutually exclusive terms. There is no such thing as a ‘good Republican’.
March 5th, 2008 at 6:28 am
Braden,
Watch and see.
Go Ron Paul ,,the only true Republican running.
March 5th, 2008 at 6:47 am
I have opened my MySpace page to teach people about Ron Paul and the dangers to our freedoms. The address is www.myspace.com/mrmutt. I used to keep it private and used it mainly to keep up with my favorite bands but this cause for freedom has consumed me. Feel free to show everyone the page! GO RON PAUL!
March 5th, 2008 at 8:22 am
I have always thought the idea of using public forums to write pro Ron Paul messages to educate people as to his positions on the issues was a good idea. Most state newspapers on-line have a public forum where readers can start threads and readers can respond. Another very popular site is www.city-data.com where there is a forum for every state and in some states, forums for cities within those states. Additionally, at this site there are general forums, including one for Politics - 2008 Presidential Election and other general topics.
I wrote an article on the Providence Journal - News Message board suggesting to Rhode Island voters that Clinton’s and Obama’s and even McCain’s position on Healthcare FREEDOM and forced drugging and forced vaccinations might not be to their liking and to make SURE they find out what it is before voting for them.
I’ve written articles on the City-Data message boards under Politics - 2008 Presidential campaign as well but more posters who are knowlegable about the issues as well as the campaign are needed at forums like these.
Registering at the City-data.com boards is really easy as well.
I urge all of you to go there an help get the message out.
March 5th, 2008 at 8:45 am
As someone who has been outraged by the election outcomes of 2000 and 2004, I decided to take a more active role in things this time around. I’ve been working as a precinct leader for Ron Paul in my neighborhood. I have been working with the people in my local Ron Paul Meetup Group #599. I have also been donating my money to Ron’s Presidential, as well as his Congressional campains. Yesterday, I took one more step by participating in the Ohio Primary as an election worker. I have to tell you, for those who have no experience working in an election, it can be very challenging. I had never realized that the people you see working the elections centers are getting there by 5:50 to 6:00 in the morning and will not be leaving until 9:00 or so that evening. The Election Officials are only then getting started as they have to take the election information (paper tapes, ballots, memory cards) to the central location and compile the results. Making for a very late night. I was most touched by the way Republicans and Democrats lay down their opinions and work together to make the election happen. It is reassuring to know that beneath our philosophical differences, people can, and will work together to what must be done.

Can someone help me out with a confusing membership application for Fairfax County?
I live in the 11th-CD, in Fairfax County. Congressional Districts don’t follow county lines, nor county lines CD lines. Fairfax County is overlain by the 8th CD (mostly Arlington), 10th CD (mostly Loudoun, Frederick) and 11th CD (mostly Fairfax, Prince Wm.).
The “Official Fairfax County Republican [Party?, Headquarters? Committee?] Filing Form - 2008″ has to be filed March 29, with the Magisterial District Chairman (local districts within the county), or with the “Fairfax County Republican [?Party] Headquarters.”
It appears that membership in the “Fairfax County Republican [whatever]” is controlled at the county level. Membership is by county, and each county can have several CDs (and vice versa). Delegates to the national convention are based on congressional districts[?].
Applicants can apply for “membership” in one, two or three “membership categories” of the Republican County Republican Committee. Thus, I assume membership is a county-level operation, and gives a member a right to vote at various “conventions.” The “membership categories” are (a) “Precinct Membership” (which typically is a small subarea of a magisterial district); (b) “[Magisterial?] District-at-Large Membership”; and (c) “County-at-Large Membership.” From what I can make of it, there are no memberships for Congressional District.
Application for the “1st membership category” which is accepted by the committee costs $50.oo. Applications for additional membership categories are $5.oo more. Fairfax County Republican [?-membership committee] has ultimate discretion, and fees on rejected applications are considered voluntary non-refundable contributions. Once the [?membership committee] has acted on the “1st membership category” of an applicant, applications for all other categories are void. Thus, if an RP supporter applies for more than one membersihp category, he grants to the membership committee a power of appointment over his membership class. If one category is crucial, then RP applicants should apply only for that category, to prevent being pigeon-holed into an irrelevant membership category[?]
Do I have that right? If so, which membership category in the Fairfax County Republican Committee should I apply for?
I take it that after an applicant’s county membership is approved, the committee then considers the applicants desire (expressed on the same application form) to become a “delegate” at an array of conventions. They are:
(a) Fairfax Co Republican Convention, Sat., 8am Apr. 12, Falls Church HS. ($25.oo fee to vote in “intra-party races” — which are ?)
(b) Congressional District Convention, Sat., 9am May 17, for the 11-CD at West Springfield HS. ($20.oo fee to vote in “intra-party races” — which are ?)
(c) Republican State Convention, May 30-31, Richmond Convention Center. ($35.oo fee voluntary.)
I assume the important one is the Congressional District Convention — since that is when delegates to the national convention are determined[?] — do I have that right?
Potentially, the total fees are $95.oo, for the chance to vote on a RP candidate, in a heavily anti-RP county, in an election controlled by Republican hardcore Marxists who think nothing of changing the votes at regulated polling places (a form of crime that is IMHO more detestible and heinous than that of child molestations by sick Priests).
I might be better off spending $95.oo on some ammo, now that Ron’s won his local district. The first Marxist Republican ****** who calls me a “… Liberal,” should first be prepared to …
March 5th, 2008 at 11:36 am
Bert Cooper, I think you need to email your very important question to HQ. Every state has such convoluted rules, it’s hard to figure them out. At the bottom of this page, there is a “contact us” tab. It gives you a phone number you can call, or email options. I would try the phone number first.
GO RON PAUL!
March 5th, 2008 at 12:52 pm
Along with the 16% we got here in Minnesota, we are getting 30-60% of delegates that will go onto the DCs and the State convention. Don’t give up, McCain and the neocons are in for a big surprise! Also, try to get the upset Romney supporters on your side - they hate McCain!
March 5th, 2008 at 3:10 pm
Bert,
Shoot me an email at brian.gentry@ronpaul2008.com and I’ll explain the process to you.
To be a delegate for Ron Paul you don’t have to pay any money, so you can delegate for Ron Paul and still get your ammo.
March 5th, 2008 at 3:17 pm
“Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.” WE MARCH ON WASHINGTON DC ON JULY 4, 2008, THAT SAME DAY WE STOP PAYING TAXES. LETS FINSISH THIS NOW.
March 5th, 2008 at 5:18 pm
Thanks so much for these up lifting words.
Ron Paul all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
March 5th, 2008 at 6:23 pm
When election time comes around let’s all write in Ron Paul’s name…..He deserves it!
March 5th, 2008 at 6:36 pm
That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking of doing is writing in Ron Paul’s name. I’m just not sure I can bring myself to vote for McCain!
March 5th, 2008 at 6:58 pm
Did you see the market today? Oil hit the $104 mark! Gold, silver, and commodities off the charts! The last few days we have seen 200 point rallies in the final minutes. The Euro is now worth $1.52! THIS IS B*LLSH*T! WHERE ARE THE COPS! SWEET JESUS! If we hit a depression and Ron Paul loses I fear we may truly see a REVOLTION indeed! People who don’t vote for Ron Paul just can’t see that this isn’t about which party your from or abortion rights anymore. THIS IS ABOUT SAVING THE COUNTRY BEFORE OUR CURRENCY IS RUINED AND OUR COUNTRY BECOMES A WARZONE! All great nations end that way, what makes America different? You would think people would listen when they heard NO MORE FEDERAL TAXES. Come to think of it, wouldn’t THAT be a great solution to the housing mess instead of trying to bail out the f*cking banks!
RON PAUL IS THE ONLY ANSWER!
R(EVOL)UTION!
March 5th, 2008 at 6:59 pm
Hey People this could be an answer to prayer.
Tonight (3-5-08 6PM ET) Tucker at MSNBC (pro-Ron Paul) just mentioned RP & Kucinich victories. Tucker stated that although he only agrees with one of them, they are both strong contenders and should be on the show every night.
Please contact Tucker (I don’t know how to post the site-someone please help) and tell him to have both on for a debate/interview for a series of nights. We promise to contact all of the voters we know, plus word of mouth should increase ratings each evening. This is our chance folks, please respond. This would be worth more than all money bombs combined.
Now that others MSM’s declared “MR War” as the “nominee” they may be short on political news and feel the need to follow Tucker’s lead. They don’t want Mc Cain to speak, he may hang himself.
How do we tell National about this great opportunity?
PS: Anyone who wants copy this article and include the site address have at it PLEASE.

**** Weber…the bowler?!? Go Ron; we’re with you for the long haul!!!
March 6th, 2008 at 3:19 pm
Ron Paul is the best chance the USA has of recovering it’s society, it’s ideals, it’s economic structure and it’s morality. Post-flipper America needs to set itself on the correct course of moral and economic behaviour. Invading other countries, paying for arrogance with electronic money, abusing taxes to enrich corporations, and promote the careers of people of low morality like in Enron, and allowing the physical and human resource base of US to disintegrate from within, is destroying America. the big loser in all of this is the corporate media.
From all of this Americans must decide to rebuild freedom one day at a time.
1. Eat healthy food, not McJunk. What you eat might keep you out of hospital.
2. Switch to low fuel, manual gear change, light transport.
3. Switch of the trash channels on the TV. Use the Internet instead !!
4. Go to Canada or Europe and open a bank account in Canadian Dollars or Euros or Swiss Francs. Have it electronic so that you can bring you money home should you require.
5. Take regular non-strenuous exercise.
6. Don’t go to the Movies, go to the library instead.
7. Use public transport whenever possible. You are keeping other American’s in a job. And the bus is probably made in the MidWest.
8. Don’t tell lies. Lying to others, makes people good at decieving their own moral conscience.
9. Cut down on the amount of packaging you consume. It is all made from oil.
10. Recycle your waste. Create a compost device. Agitate at your local town council for better facilities. Vote for Environmentalists to get this changed. Then vote the next time, slecting a different environmentalist to get it upgraded !!
11. Buy clothes that have no labels whatsoever. It will enable you to be free from the status obsession that the coprporate media tries to infect into the mind of every citizen (described using the term ‘consumer’).
12. Take an active part in local politics. Debate the issues at local meetings and assemblies. Don’t give in. Organize petitions against local amenity downgrading. Vote for better candidates.
13. Read every peice of literature concerning personal development and self education.
14. Visit Museams. Go on culture holidays. Avoid the usual trahs like Disney etc…
15. Spend time with elderly relatives, children. Cultivate intergenerational trust. It more enriching. It existed before Hillary’s Welfare state in the US, and still works in Latin America. Because the welfare program is bankrupt, it might eventually become a necessity. Many Americans with their tendency to live in far away cities seem to miss it’s relevance, and buy junk to fill the missing spac it leaves in their soul.
16. Stop wasting time watching sports. It is better to play sports instead.
17. No substance abuse. Alcohol within legal limits. Pursue the intellectual route to solving all problems.
18. Understand the deeper and profound element to religion, and not just the hard sell element.
19. Listen to classical music, instrumental, US folk, instead of just Pop, American Idol, grunge nonsense. choose music that is positive, honest, and inspiring.
20. Learn a foreign language. Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, Hindi, Arabic, Japanese, Malay are also useful languages for assignment to work in other countries.
21. Become financially educated !!
22. Only have one credit card. Keep it always in positive. Only use it for internet purchasing. Never to pay restaurant bills, etc… Keep all accounts in positive territory. If you cannot afford a meal, buy a pizza, and eat at home. Play chess or read and rest. Share time with others. Choose the modest, cost effective approach. You will be richer and less stressed in the long run !!
23. Don’t buy products made in countries that forbid free elections. Choose Taiwanese rather than Chinese. Apply your conscience. Praise India when in the company of anybody from a third world country. Eventually they will follow the India road to democracy and progress.
24. Take university seriously. It is not about showing off, or ******** up the rest of your life.
25. Support a retailer that is family owned, that supports the community, and that stocks American produce.
26. Invest your retirement funds in gold mining companies.
It will take time. But it will create ‘positive outcomes’ and support liberty !!

I forgot to mention public transport is also cheaper, and you are already paying for it via subsidies from your taxes. Therefore you may as well get your return. My apologies for using ‘unparlaimentary’ language !! I get really annoyed when I see young people being arrogant and irresponsible, and I want to make it clear this has consequences.

Folks, the neo-con globalists would rather LOSE to the dems than allow the party to be taken back by “real” conservatives. So let’s say RP could save the nomination away from the evil liberal repub neo-con McSwine. The MSM and the GOP have spent the last year and a half smearing him. Can he win the General after all that? Does anybody see it as any kind of victory if “the machine” wins no matter what? Think about it. There is a solution.

I am a first-time voter and am a Ron Paul supporter as of one month today. I live in Pennsylvania, and it is still a long wait until our April 22 primaries. I am so glad that Mr. Paul has not given up and will hopefuly stay in the race till the convention so I, and many other Ron Paul supporters here can vote and have our voice heard!

Ron Pauls running mate was my state house rep in 1988, Andre Marrou. Too bad he was not here to help him out this time. He could have told him to hold back on some of those heady topics such as austrian economics and the theorey of the business cycle during the debates. Although correct he went over the head of most of the audience and thus lost them. He should have stuck to some of the basics like quoting Roosevelt, “Yes he is a dictator, but he is our little dictator!” That would have struck a chord! Well, let Walter Williams pick up the flag and run with it in 2012. You lit the fire Ron! we’ll keep it burnin! Jean.

I had a phone call late last evening from a fellow who identified himself as the state coordinator in MA. He said he has a list of all the donors to the Ron Paul campaign from my district and wondered if I would be the district coordinator!
He will send me the list and I am eager to call everyone to see if I can find registered Republicans among them to help us elect delegates to the nominating convention. I suspect most are unenrolled.
No doubt this is happening in every state and every district in the entire country! There is no doubt in my mind that there shall be a majority of delegates inside the convention for Ron Paul and that the whole place will be surrounded by Ron Paul supporters as far as the eye can see. The June 21st Ron Paul March will show the world that the Ron Paul candidacy is very much alive and well.
Still the media and the establishment is convinced that McCain has clinched the nomination for himself.
“Ron Paul doesn’t have a chance. It is OVER!” Boy are they in for a surprise! We will show them how much our desire for freedom is! To paraphrase Victor Hugo: “There is no power in the world that can stop an idea whose time has come!”

“The broken bell will be heard!”
I am unable to contain my excitement.
Become precinct leader if only to just be able to access other precinct leaders and lend them a hand by calling a handful of donors who are known to be Ron Paul supporters. If they are not registered Republicans get their email addresses so we can keep them informed of activities such as the June 21st Washington D.C. march and rally.
If they are registered Republicans encourage them to attend the local or district caucuses to help elect delegates who will vote for Ron Paul in Minneapolis! Get their email addresses also.
